Where can I get my vehicle delivered?
Where can I get my vehicle delivered?
Vehicles can be delivered almost anywhere within the Mevo Flex Zone in Auckland and Wellington.
On the day of your trip, your vehicle will appear in your Mevo app near your chosen address - just press unlock to start your trip.
Running late? No problem - simply unlock and then re-lock the vehicle in the app to hold your reservation until you’re ready to go.

You get all your usual Mevo perks:
- EV charging included in-app
- Standard insurance cover ($2,500 excess), upgrades available above
- 200 km included travel per day (e.g., 3 days = 600 km included)
- No extra fees for additional drivers (all must have approved Mevo accounts)
- Airport pick-up/drop-off available (surcharge applies per fee schedule)

What about EV charging?

Your BYD Atto 3 is delivered to your designated address within the Flex Zone with a minimum of 80% charge.
The BYD Atto 3 has a range of over 300 km on a full charge.
Charging at Mevo-authorised stations is included and easy to find in the Mevo app.

What’s the South Island travel deposit?
What’s the South Island travel deposit?
If you’re taking your vehicle from Wellington to the South Island, a $500 refundable deposit applies. This will be billed on 20th December and refunded within 2 business days of your return, provided the vehicle is returned to the original city.
If the vehicle is not returned, the deposit will be forfeited.
South Island travel is only permitted under the Summer EV Program.

Not at this time.
All rentals must be returned to the city where you picked up the vehicle. This helps us keep cars available and compliant with local permits.

The standard Mevo fee schedule applies.
Airport pick-up/drop-off incurs a surcharge.
Excess kilometres beyond the included 200 km per day on-trip are charged at $0.50/km (e.g., 3 days = 600 km included).

You’ll get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip.
Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking is still eligible for a refund but will incur a $75 admin fee.

We’ve got you covered! Chat support is available 8am–8pm, and 24/7 phone and roadside support is always on.
For breakdowns like a flat tyre, we’ll coordinate repairs with our national partners.
If the car is unusable and you can’t reach a Mevo service city (Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson), you’ll need to arrange alternative transport.
