What's actually happening to Mevo?
Mevo has entered a new phase under new ownership, and a full refresh is underway. The service you knew is paused while we rebuild the fleet, the app and the experience. We're not gone, we're getting ready to relaunch.
Can I still log in or use the old app?
Not right now. The previous Mevo app and service are paused during the rebuild, so logins, bookings and the old account screens may not work. There's nothing you need to do when we relaunch, we'll send everyone on the list clear instructions to get set up on the new platform.
I have an outstanding balance, a payment that won't go through, or a refund owing.
These relate to the previous Mevo business and are handled by its administrators, not the new team. Please don't use the waitlist below for billing or refund matters — instead contact the administrators directly at [BDO administrator contact]. They're the right people to resolve anything tied to your old account.
Why couldn't I find any cars before this?
Vehicle availability was reduced as the business changed hands. As part of the relaunch we're rebuilding the fleet availability will come back as we go live, market by market.
When are you back, and in which cities?
We're working towards relaunch now. Wellington is our home and the first focus, with more to follow. Join the list and you'll be the first to hear and likely first in line for early access.
I drive for Uber / rideshare can I rent an EV from you?
